Delete your biaX account
You can permanently delete your biaX account and the personal data linked to it using either method below.
Option A — In the app (recommended)
- Open biaX and sign in.
- Go to Settings (bottom navigation).
- Under Account, tap Delete Account.
- Complete re-authentication if prompted (email/password or your sign-in provider).
- Confirm deletion. Your account and associated data will be scheduled for removal.
Option B — By email
Email support@barunpartners.co.kr from the address registered on your account. Use the subject line "biaX account deletion request". We may ask you to verify ownership before processing the request.
Data deleted when you delete your account
After account deletion is confirmed, we delete the following without undue delay (typically within 5 business days):
- Account credentials and authentication identifiers
- Profile and onboarding information (display name, persona, preferences)
- Trade journal entries, tags, memos, and analysis results tied to your account
- In-app settings, notification preferences, and push device tokens
- Subscription entitlement records stored on our servers (billing history may remain with the app store)
Data that may be retained
Some information may be kept for a limited period where required by law or for legitimate operational purposes:
- Payment and subscription records — up to 5 years where applicable (transaction IDs only; we do not store full card numbers)
- Consumer complaint records — up to 3 years
- Advertising consent records — up to 6 months
- Server access logs — up to 3 months
- Crash and error logs — typically up to 90 days (Firebase Crashlytics)
- AI guardrail detection logs — de-identified operational logs, typically up to 30 days
- Marketing analytics — only if you opted in; stops on consent withdrawal or account deletion (default retention up to 14 months while active)
Re-registering with the same social login may be restricted for 24 hours after deletion to prevent abuse. Previously deleted data is not restored.
Delete data without deleting your account
You can remove some of your data while keeping your biaX account:
- Individual trade records — open the Journal, select a trade, and delete it from the trade detail screen.
- Marketing preferences — turn off marketing notifications and analytics in Settings.
- Other personal data — email support@barunpartners.co.kr with subject "biaX data deletion request" to request correction or deletion of specific data categories described in our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions
Deleting your biaX account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel recurring billing in your store account settings. See our Refund & Subscription Policy for details.
