Terms of Service
1. Purpose and definitions
These Terms govern the use of the mobile application and related web services "BiaX" (formerly BAREUN, the "Service") provided by Barun Partners (the "Company") and set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users.
- User: any person who accesses the Service or uses it through sign-up, login, or similar means under these Terms. The Service is available only to users aged 18 or older.
- Account: the Service access credentials created or linked by the User through social login or other methods permitted by the Company.
- Content: all information provided within the Service or entered and stored by the User, including text, numbers, images, and analysis results.
2. Effectiveness and changes
These Terms take effect when posted on the Service or otherwise made available to users. The Company may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law. When amended, the effective date and reason for change will be announced in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Users who do not agree may stop using the Service and withdraw their account through procedures provided by the Company.
3. Service description
Nature of the Service (important): the Service does not provide automatic brokerage integration (no auto-ordering, trade sync, or balance collection). It offers statistical summaries of past trades based on data the User enters manually, using models developed by the Company. It is not intended to direct future actions, provide investment advice, or recommend buying or selling any financial product.
Analysis and notification timing: results and push notifications may be delivered after the next business day depending on market data availability and server processing.
Examples of features (actual scope may change per in-app notices and updates):
The Company may update, change, or discontinue all or part of the Service and will provide reasonable notice for material changes.
- Manual trade and position recording and review
- Statistics and behavioral analysis screens (for reference only)
- AI-assisted summaries of the User's own trade data (reference only; errors possible)
- Onboarding, settings, notifications, and related features
- Paid subscription and premium features (when offered; separate billing and refund policies apply)
4. User obligations
Users must not engage in the following:
Users are responsible for securing their account, app PIN, and device. The Company is not liable for losses caused by the User's negligence.
- Impersonating others or registering false information
- Infringing intellectual property, privacy, or trade secrets of the Company or third parties
- Disrupting Service operation or threatening security (automated attacks, reverse engineering, etc.)
- Illegal acts or acts contrary to public order and morals
- Any other violation of applicable law or these Terms
5. Not investment advice · disclaimer
The Service is not investment advisory, similar investment advisory, discretionary investment, or brokerage under applicable capital markets law. It does not recommend buying or selling specific financial products or provide investment judgment advice. Information, metrics, summaries, and notifications shown on screen are statistical summaries of past trades entered by the User only. Users must make investment decisions at their own judgment and risk.
The Company does not guarantee investment outcomes. To the extent permitted by law, the Company may limit liability for indirect, special, or lost-profit damages. Where the Company acts with intent or gross negligence, applicable law applies.
6. Limits of statistics and analysis
Statistical and model-based results may contain errors, bias, delay, or missing data. Results are not definitive or complete and reflect past data only. They are not instructions, advice, or recommendations for future trades.
Users understand that identical inputs may yield different results depending on environment, timing, and data. Model details and limitations may be described separately in the app or Company policies.
6-1. Virtual-asset behavioral analysis notice
The Service may provide post-hoc behavioral summaries for user-entered trades involving virtual assets (crypto assets), including assets such as Bitcoin or Ethereum. These outputs are reference material that organizes your own past records from a behavioral perspective.
Any crypto-related screen, metric, summary, or notification does not indicate valuation, target price, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any coin or token. The Service does not provide virtual-asset investment advice, brokerage, or solicitation, and all trading decisions and outcomes remain your responsibility.
The Company discloses that crypto data may include errors, delays, or gaps due to volatility, liquidity, and source differences. Users must use such outputs for behavioral review only.
7. Paid services and subscriptions
Free tier: the Company may offer some features at no charge. Scope, features, and limits follow in-app notices and operating policy.
Premium (paid): additional features and higher limits may be offered via paid subscription. Pricing, benefits, and restrictions follow the payment screen, this section, and the Refund & Subscription Policy.
Where in-app purchases are offered, subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Billing, payment processor, cancellation, and refunds follow the Refund & Subscription Policy and app store policies (Apple App Store, Google Play, etc.). Cancel in your store subscription settings; deleting the app does not stop billing.
Where they conflict with these Terms, applicable law and store policies may prevail.
8. Suspension and restriction
The Company may suspend or restrict all or part of the Service in the following cases:
Except where required by law, the Company will endeavor to notify users of suspension or restriction within a commercially reasonable scope.
- System maintenance, failure, natural disaster, national emergency, or other force majeure
- Confirmed Terms violation, illegal activity, or infringement of others' rights
- Other substantial operational or technical reasons
9. Limitation of liability
For free features, the Company is not liable except for intent or gross negligence where required by law. For paid features, liability is limited to the extent set forth in these Terms, the Refund Policy, and applicable law.
Users are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information they enter. Use of analysis and display based on that information is at the User's risk.
10. Dispute resolution and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes between the Company and users shall be brought before courts with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act and related statutes.
